100% recommend this accommodation. The rooms are well laid out and large with ac and our experience is such great. The ambience of the hotel is quiet and the staff is helpful. The property provides a great service. Just keep in mind, there's parking on site.

Location: the hotel was just off restaurants nearby, Cartagena and supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants. The breakfast was particularly good with a lot of food, including chocolate, fresh bread and fruit. We were there for 1 night, overall had a fantastic stay.

Despite the small issues of mosquitoes and a faulty toilet, the overall stay was excellent. I would definitely recommend Casa Colonial to anyone visiting Barranquilla.

The hot water was a bit spotty, so if you prefer a hot shower, make sure to let the staff know. Other than that, our stay was absolutely perfect.

That there was no door hanger on the room, so we were disturbed a few times during our thanksgiving stay. However, this was easily resolved by speaking to the staff, who were more than happy to help.
